The lush forest breathed around him, when he strolled through mossy hills and flourishing pines. Their hard surface was scraping against his snow-white side, and glimmer of sun played on his iridescent feathers. Like showering in the glow's attention, the giant prairie prushed his head back, closing his elegant eyes. He could hear every bird, every squirrel, every drop of bubbling stream nearby; he was one with the forest.

Aamurusko parted his eyelids, watching the safe enviroment around him, breathing in the fresh morning air. Like a ghost he wandered around his territory, never encountering anyone who would be willing to challenge giant, feathered rook. Muscles were aching under his short fur and he stopped, taking a long sip from stream's ice cold water. Something rustled bushes behind pearl kukuri, and he turned his ear towards the sound, but refused to break his tongue's contact with sweet water. After being satisfied, the rook turned slowly and raised his majestic head up, spreading his feathers growing from his cheeks to appear larger. But when Aamurusko saw a glimpse of brown fur between the lively leaves, he stood down.

Riekko, that interesting and openly curious common kukuri dove, jumped towards the prairie. She standed near him, watching his figure when he stared down, lips parting slightly to reveal long bottom fangs. But the kukuri was not a thread. Riekko's long fur was shagged between pine branches, as if she had rushed right towards Aamurusko when she had noticed him. The prairie breathed in and perked his ears, when he sensed someone else. The pearl white kukuri turned his head and saw pair of blue orbs staring right back at him. Standing on a ledge, golden fur standing up, was another kukuri dove. Aamurusko haven't seen this one for a long time. With furious eyes the dove met his gaze on equal height and didn't seem afraid at all, even when facing prairie much larger than her. It was Hunaja; and he knew how much she hated someone strolling around in their backyard. Aamurusko's gaze wandered around and he recognized the trees, the moss, the rocks. He had wandered too far from his usual territory, near the farm. He felt uncomfortable itch on his back and the prairie turned to head deeper into forest. He stopped when he heard footsteps behind her and turning back, he noticed Riekko following him couple feets away. Aamurusko gave the dove puzzled rook, but the amber kukuri only tilted her head. Her bright green eyes were trap to be fallen in, Aamurusko knew it too well. Without questioning, the prairie continued his majestic stroll towards his territory, leaves surrounding him in a comforting way and hiding him from the world. But Riekko kept traveling just behind him, jumping from rock to rock and keeping a safe distance from the rook. When prairie showed no signs of aggression or denial, the dove joined him on his stroll. Hunaja was able to see how the amber matriarch pushed her cheek against Aamurusko's side before they disappeared into woods.

Fur was standing up on Hunaja's neck, when she swallowed in rage. Her blue eyes were burning in cold fire when she jumped down from the ledge and rushed to the forest to catch the two. She wouldn't allow Riekko to disappear all suddenly with some wild rook that had appeared from nowhere. Aamurusko was bad news for the farm and all the pups Hunaja tried to protect in there, she was sure from it. But at the same time the golden dove couldn't but wonder how Aamurusko's pearl fur had glimmered in the sunlight, how his feathers sparkled in colors while he moved. His figurine was muscular and healthy, perfect for his age. Hunaja shook her head and jumped over a rock, getting Riekko and the prairie on her sight. Riekko was nudging the pearl rook like a playful pup, clearly showing off her affection, and the rook didn't chase her away. Instead, Aamurusko soon curled his short tail around the much smaller kukuri and they laid down together, rubbing noses together. Hunaja let out a snort and licked her lips; she wasn't going to leave them alone. She quickly closed the distance between couple and herself, but before she was able to show any aggression to chase the rook away, Aamurusko's eyes met hers. The prairie was astounding; his health and luxurious coat were sparkling together his nature when he observed Hunaja quietly. The dove bowed her head slightly; Aamurusko sniffed her forehead before giving it a long lick. The birds were singing in the trees on the beautiful blue sky.
